Since
the late '80s friends from France and Germany were comming every year to Pakistan and
specially to the Nanga Parbat district in the Northern areas. They were interested in
local village- and familylife and reached to the status of "foreign family
members". That means, they have visited and lived in the mountain villages, absorbed
in the microcosmos of thinking and acting - which is normally impossible for foreigners.
In nightlong discussions the plan was fixed to establish a cooperating team of
local persons, leaded by Liver Khan, and this foreign friends.
The team intends to offer a permanent working contact-address-, to provide support for
special-interest-visitors, who are comming to Pakistan. By tellling this plans to friends
of the geologists-, expedition- and mountaineering-scene, the team became encouraged, to
do it: That would become something the special-interest-visitors were searching for since
a long time...
There are many travel-agents and trekking companies offering services in the Nanga
Parbat area, but who of them is comming direct from this area, knows the local connections
and dependancies, is supported by locals because of family-bondage?
Since the 90s the team "Nanga Parbat Adventure" is supporting expeditions
regulary in the mountain regions, and because of their family-roots, they are seen as the
most specialized team for anything in the Nanga Parbat area. The team has opened routes
and trails in this area, also in the Baltistan district.
Expeditions, with their high demand for professionality, have teached the team a lot about
the management and the logistic of mixed-minded-groups, scientists, trekkers or
jeep-tourists.
With this background and proof of professionality the team can offer you any service and
help for a succesfull stay in the Northern Areas of Pakistan, and they also can give you a
helping hand for the days in the cultur-area of the cities and sightseeing-areas, like
Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore.

When you come to the Nanga Parbat region, specially to the Diamer side, you are
setting foot on areas, which belong to the families of the team - who would be better
entitled to support you there?
The staff is small:
your contacts are with the persons who will accompany you and meet you as members of their
family.
Your visit will be
organized with you before and after your arrival. In winter the team-members spend some
month in Europe and USA where they can meet you.
As every tour is individual calculated according to the guests wishes and group-sizes, the
costs/prices are very competitive, although they are not the cheapest. The team believes,
that only with realistic calculations and prices they can maintain professionalism,
efficiency, high standards of safety and service, that they are proud to offer.
